Mom and Dad anniversary session

How is it February already?! I can't believe that it's already 2020... and we're already almost done with February already! I hope you all are having an amazing start to 2020 so far :)

Part of the reason time seems to be flying so fast for me is, as most of you know, I am now engaged to my amazing fiance, Josh! So wedding planning took off to a fast start this past September to get married in August this year :).

This was a session I was really glad to be able to shoot! The last time my parents had portraits of any kind done were probably the family ones we did in a studio about...15 years ago? We had on so much make-up we were barely recognizable. Like I had never had on so much makeup in my life- probably even to this day. It was SO long ago that I had braces! (They were kindly edited out of some of my favorite photos). Anyway, I thought it's been way too long since my parents have had some portraits of just them! And especially beautiful outdoor portraits in natural light, and more natural makeup :)

This was my first time shooting in Huntington Beach, and I'm so glad my parents were up for trekking around Huntington Library with me exploring for a mini shoot! They were such great sports walking all around the library grounds, and such naturals in front of my camera! My dad even let my mom and I take him last minute shopping to grab a new white shirt and some new slacks. It was all worth it! My parents are the best I could have ever ask for, I was was so happy to be able to shoot some updated images for them. I truly appreciate everything you have done for me. Thank you for all of your support, and for always being there for me. Without the two of you, I don't know where I would be. Love you so much, Mom and Dad! I look forward to cherishing these photos for years to come!
