Had a great time during this maternity shoot for Preethi and Suresh at Fletcher's Cove in Solana Beach, and at San Dieguito County Park in Solana Beach! This is such an incredibly special time for new mom and dad to be. After 9 long months, their new baby is about to be welcomed into the world, and they will get to see, touch, and bond with the little one for the first time. This session was extra special, because Preethi and Suresh were just unveiling their baby's names for the first time!! I felt so honored that I got to be one of the first people to know the new baby's names, and that they would use their maternity photos to share baby's names! That was super exciting and new for me.
I love shooting maternity sessions because it's amazing being able to capture these special moments between mom and dad, and let them reflect on the joy of soon being able to hold and love on their bun in the oven soon!
These memories and images of the start of a new family will be cherished for years to come, and it's so rewarding being able to capture these precious moments. Shout-out to all of you awesome moms and dads out there, and especially the moms whose strong bodies made this new little bundle of joy happen!!
